I have a question: I installed Windows on my Mac using that Boot Camp thing so that I could play games, but the damn thing can't read my Airport so I couldn't register it. That's not my problem, however. I'd really like the space I gave to Windows back but I don't know how to. I don't want to mess it up and lose all my stuff.

How do I remove Windows from my Mac?

you can actually just go into the disk utility (in /Applications/Utilities) and delete the partition that holds the Windows installation. Make sure you erase the Windows partition, not the whole drive. Once that is done, go to Startup Disk (I don't know where it is. Just search Spotlight) and make sure your Mac installation is the default one it will boot to. That is the manual, get your hands dirty way of doing it.

Alternatively, here's a guide from Apple on how to do it inside the Bootcamp utility.

Can anybody help me? I have an old iMac DV 450 Mhz running Tiger 10.4. I want to upgrade to 10.4.1-10.4.11 but I can't!? I downloaded 10.4.1 update and even the 10.4.11 combo update and when I try to run either one, I get a message saying that my compy doesn't meet system requirements. When I look up the system requirements at the apple website, all it says is that I need Tiger 10.4. Does anybody know the system requirements to upgrade? Is it possible for me to upgrade, or is there something I don't know? Do I need an OS X boot disk? If so, how do I make one?

Never mind. Found out that if I somehow got it to upgrade, I'd get the equivalent of a sad mac logo on boot up. It's undocumented, but it seems 10.4.1 and up will not work on G3 computers.

BEFORE you upgrade to Snow Leopard...

Start up from cd
Choose Language
From the tab at top of screen choose disk utilities
In the disk utility window choose your hard drive
at the bottom of this window you will see Repair Disk permissions and Repair Disk. Run them both. Permissions may take quite a while if you have never run it. Just let it run till complete.

This can save a lot of trouble in the future.

I have been using Snow Leopard for several months now. (beta test)
Any of you who have Intel Macs really need to get Snow Leopard. It is flawless. Much faster than Leopard. Apple did good on this one.

Hi guys sorry for the lack of updates. We are currently prepping for the new groups system dA has been tooting around. We're really looking forward to it and we hope you are too. Things will start to pick up with this group soon so don't give up hope.

In the mean time I hope you all are ready for Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. We've got our Macs cleaned and ready for Fridays release! Make sure you take the necessary precautions if you plan to upgrade also :la: If any of you are willing to write a review on the installation or new feature please feel free to drop us a note.

I already have Snow Leopard installed on my Mac since the day it came out. I love Snow Leopard. Faster start and shut down; no lag and every programs would load a bit much faster than the original Leopard OS. =D

Snow Leopard
I have been using a near-final version of Snow Leopard for a little over a week now. I absolutely LOVE it. It is an under the hood upgrade for Leopard which focuses on the Intel Multi-core processors. It cuts several gigs out of Leopard and is incredibly faster. I now launch Adobe Photoshop cs4 in half the time it took with 10.5. Everyone with an Intel Apple computer needs to get this when it comes out in September. Sorry ppc users but it is intel only. This is truly an awesome upgrade.

Hey there. I’m one of YOURExINTELECT best friends. Listen, she’s got a big prob. So please help her. There’s this kid that signed up not to long ago and he stole three of YOURExINTELECT works of art she put time and effort into. If anyone would know how to contact the owners of DA and inform them a new member joined and is stealing others works that would be greatly appreciated. And I’m positive if more then one person reported him he would definitely get banned. DA is a site to show UR work, UR talent. Not to have it stolen. So please help my friend YOURExINTELECT and possible other artists that this kid may steal from. Please, let use unite against art thieves and help DA become safe from thieves.
